Who is The Computer Guy?
The Computer Guy Story
I started “The Computer Guy℠, Inc.” in July of 2004 because I have always been deeply passionate about helping people learn and understand how to make their technology work for them.
Many of my clients over the years have told me I must have won some sort of genetic lottery when it comes to problem-solving and teaching. It’s very important to me that I don’t just ‘fix stuff’ for my clients. I also work hard to teach and empower them so that they understand how things work and will know how to address similar challenges should they arise in the future.
I am an intelligent, personable and patient professional with more than 30 years experience delivering effective IT and business solutions for customers across multiple industries and platforms throughout the United States.
For the last 14 years I’ve focused my on-site services for clients in the areas of Georgetown, Lewes, and Milton Delaware. I’ve developed a calm confidence from years of devising impactful solutions to even the most perplexing technical or business challenges.
Why should you choose The Computer Guy?
I have experience solving problems with both Mac and Windows-based computers, as well as Apple and Android mobile devices. Along with a wide variety of software and various other hardware (if it connects to the Internet or not). Check the services section for more information. Even if I don’t know the answer to a problem, I’ll find it. I love solving problems!
No need to unplug those dusty wires! That’s right, The Computer Guy comes to your home or small office. I provide on-site services to clients who live in the communities of Georgetown, Lewes, and Milton Delaware.
“Eric’s patience, ability to explain complex technology in clear, concise language and willingness to listen and respond to suggestions appropriate to your specific needs and capabilities are unsurpassed. Most importantly, he will never make you feel incompetent, even when you know you have done something foolish.” — One of my favorite quotes from a client.
In my 14 years of providing on-site services to clients here in Southern Delaware, I’ve worked with a wide variety of people and age groups. My oldest client at the moment is a young 95! I help a lot of young 70-90 year olds. 🙂
Award Winning Customer Service
In September of 2007, The Computer Guy was awarded the “Quality First Award” by the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce.
This award recognizes “A Chamber-member business that provides high-quality customer service above and beyond industry standards.”
In the picture, Eric Montgomery is shown receiving the award (right). As presented by David S. Nilsson (left).
I recommend The Computer Guy (Eric Montgomery) for those of us who enjoy the good things technology can bring but are often baffled by the complexity of those same systems, especially when they “have issues.”
The Computer Guy (Eric Montgomery) demonstrates an understanding of the computers and peripherals we use. He is a patient advisor on how to use the technology effectively for our individual purposes.
I don’t hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
